Legal Information & Notices

Artwork & Creative Assets

Content Standards & Creative Restrictions
Avozar maintains strict professional standards regarding the content we produce. To protect our 20-year reputation and the integrity of our production facilities, we reserve the right to refuse any project at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, rendering original artwork containing pornography, graphic violence, or any content deemed offensive or harmful.

Artwork Intellectual Property (IP)
By submitting artwork, you warrant that you own the rights or have documented permission for all designs. Avozar acts strictly as a manufacturer; the Client assumes full legal responsibility for IP infringement and agrees to indemnify Avozar against all claims, costs, or legal disputes.” In some cases

Client Warranty
By submitting artwork to Avozar, the Client warrants that they are the sole owner of the Intellectual Property (IP) or have documented legal permission from the copyright/trademark holder to reproduce the imagery.

IP Responsibility
Avozar acts as a technical manufacturer, not a legal clearinghouse. The Client assumes all liability for any copyright or trademark infringement resulting from the production of submitted designs.

Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Avozar harmless from any and all claims, damages, or legal expenses (including attorney fees) arising from the unauthorized use of protected logos, fonts, or artwork.

Right to Refuse
To protect our 20-year industry standing, Avozar reserves the right to refuse any project that appears to violate the Intellectual Property rights of a third party or the “Fair Use” standards of the garment industry.

Production-Ready File Submission
To ensure surgical print quality, all artwork must be submitted in high-resolution, production-ready formats. Vector files (.AI, .EPS, or .PDF) must have all fonts outlined and strokes minimized. Raster images must be 300 DPI at the intended print size, provided as layered (PSD) files with text converted to Smart Objects or rasterized. Files failing to meet these technical specs will be rejected to protect the integrity of the final product.

Art Preparation
Any low-resolution files requiring recreation or “cleanup” by our design team will be billed at our standard hourly creative rate, we will always notify you before we work on your Artwork for additional fee approval.

Mockup Approval
Digital mocks are for placement and scale reference only. Once the final mock is signed off via email, Avozar is not responsible for errors in spelling, punctuation, or graphic placement provided in the Original Artwork.

Films & Screens

Film Positives
Ownership and Storage: Film positives are the property of the Client. For optimal results, Avozar stores all films in-house to protect them from environmental damage. We provide a two-year replacement guarantee: if a film is damaged while stored at our facility within two years of its creation, we will replace it at no additional cost.

Release of Films: Films can be released to the Client upon request. However, please be advised that film positives are extremely delicate. Even a minimal scratch or speck of dust on the film will be reflected in the final print.

Quality Assurance: Once films are removed from our facility, we can no longer guarantee the quality of the print. To maintain our production standards, Avozar does not accept returned films for use in future orders. Any project requiring films that have previously left our custody will require the creation of new film positives at the Client’s expense.

Screens
Fees paid for “Screens” or “Setup” cover the labor and materials required to prepare your project. Avozar retains ownership of the physical screens. We maintain your designs exposures in our screens for 2 years following your last production run. After 2 years of inactivity, screens are reclaimed/reclaimed and new setup fees will apply if need to reorder the same imprints.

Repeat Orders
Re-orders placed within the 2 year window will benefit from charging  a setup fee.

Color Matching & Lab Dips

Pantone Standards
We utilize the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for color accuracy. While we strive for a 100% match, slight variations may occur depending on fabric composition and garment dye, you should always specify what PMS Colors you want on your prints.

Under-basing
For dark garments, a “Flash” or “Under-base” is required to ensure color vibrancy. This is billed as an additional color/hit.

Production & Turnaround

Timelines
Standard turnaround is 10–15 business days from the date of final PO in place, Artwork Ready, Blanks are in our facility,  and Deposit receipt.

Rush Orders
Projects requiring a turnaround of less than 5 days will incur a 25%–50% Rush Premium, subject to production capacity.

Production Spoilage & Overage Policy

Standard Spoilage Rate
Due to the complexities of high-volume garment decoration and manufacturing, a 2% spoilage rate per imprint location is considered industry standard. While Avozar strives for 100% accuracy, minor variations and technical inconsistencies can occur during the production process.

Overage Recommendations
If your project requires an exact quantity for distribution or fulfillment, we strongly advise providing additional units (overage). Avozar is only responsible for the final number of successfully finished garments. We are not liable for replacing individual units that fall within the 2% allowable spoilage range. Any shortages within this margin will be credited to the final invoice, but will not be re-printed as a standalone run.

Shipping & Delivery

F.O.B. Los Angeles: All goods are sold “Free On Board” at our LA facility. Responsibility for the goods transfers to the client once they leave our dock.

Inventory House Delivery: If Avozar is handling local delivery to your warehouse, a delivery fee will be applied based on volume and distance.

Payment & Financials

B2B & One-Time Service Accounts
This policy applies to all standard business-to-business projects, new brand launches, and one-time custom productions.

Initial Project Deposit
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate any project. This covers all preliminary stages, including textile sourcing, technical development, and sampling.

Final Balance Payment
The remaining 50% balance is due in full upon completion. All funds must be received and cleared prior to the release of goods, shipment, or house delivery.

Contractor & Legacy Accounts
This policy applies to established industry partners, high-volume contractors, and long-term production accounts.

Net Terms Eligibility
Formal “Net” billing terms are reserved exclusively for established contractors. Eligibility is evaluated after a consistent 3-12-month billing history and a successful internal credit review.

Service Continuity
Until Net Terms are formally approved in writing, all production follows the standard 50/50 payment structure. Avozar reserves the right to revert accounts to “Due on Receipt” status if payment schedules are not maintained.

Contractor Volume Incentives

Established contractors may be eligible for preferential pricing on film positives, screen setups, and general production based on annual volume. These discounts are evaluated on a total yearly volume basis rather than individual projects. Avozar conducts annual account reviews to determine discount tiers, ensuring that our high-capacity partners receive the most competitive rates relative to their consistent production requirements.
